SIGAR VALLEY

The 1st ROSEHut Village in Sigar Biosphere City. This is a 15 acres small site development of a model sustainable development village in a rainforest highlands river valley – Sigar Valley.

Sigar Valley Living Masterplan
Frontiering with a regenerative masterplan, Sigar Highlands Sustainable Development Centre leads a small site development, SIGAR VALLEY ROSEHut Village, by applying #1000ROSEHuts Village-in-a-Box Generative Code. This is a Living Masterplan that integrates with Sigar Biosphere City.

Sigar Valley NbS (Nature-based Solutions) Infrastructure
Biosphere Reserves will be identified into Core, Buffer, Transition and Sustainable Development. Ecosystem services methodologies based on the rainforest carbon, biodiversity, water, renewable energy, and sustainable development protocols will also be developed, and integrated into the glocal planning and development of Sigar Valley. 6 Global Commons will be structured for monitoring: Fresh Water, Land, Biodiversity, Food, Geologic Resources, Alternative Energy.

1 ROSEHut as SHSDC Visitors Centre
A Residency Innovation Programme frames 18 Microsystems for SHSDC Visitors Centre. This allows a prototyping of 1 ROSEHut that also serves as an integrator and navigator of SHSDC and Sigar Valley development. The ROSEHut prototyping involves off-grid energy solutions as well as a masterplanning that is inspired by Christopher Alexander’s pattern language and nature of order approach to architecture.

Linear ROSEHuts – 6 archetypes
ROSEHut Villas with 6 archetypes are being prototyped onsite: Homes (5 Generations), Biosphere Lablet, Research Stations (Flora & Fauna), Farmlet, Cottage Studios (Artisans), and ROSEHut Biophilic Hotelette.

ROSEHut Bridge of 9 Glocal Commons
An area across the river bed has been identified for the design and building of a ROSEHut Bridge which integrates the 9 Glocal Commons: Knowledge, Biosphere, Refuge, Infrastructure, Edible, Marketplaces & Culinary, Circular Fulfilment, Developmental Healthcare, Home For Life Connections.

Sigar Valley TEUWB Economy
The scalability of such a development is through a ROSEHut Technology that enables systemic planning and modular construction through the development of a generative code that factors in earth system science, conservation and human development frameworks with data, into conservation, infrastructure, real estate, economic and community development. A sustainable materials and circular production and consumption economy will be calculated and included in the #1000ROSEHuts Platform.
